Last Thursday, the government presented the measure to create support of 290 million euros to accelerate energy efficiency and transition in companies, as part of the “Energy for Progress” program. This support should start being distributed from October 1st.
The Minister for the Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, said that the measure “is absolutely vital for our country and for the productive fabric” as it accelerates decarbonization at a time when the prices of fossil fuels, such as natural gas, are reaching prohibitive levels.
