GIZ launched the “Morocco Carbon Pricing dialogue”, within the framework of the “Green Partnership’s mandates”, with the aim of creating a platform to promote regular dialogues and sharing of experiences between the EU and Morocco in order to identify the main requirements and prerequisites for the establishment of a carbon market in Morocco. Dialogues on carbon pricing are aimed at policymakers, relevant companies and stakeholders in society.
Get2C was responsible for this project:
– Analysis of international best practices on the topics: carbon tax, emissions trading system, national carbon offsetting system, policy framework for cooperative approaches under Article 6 rules
– Organization of 8 dialogue workshops covering the following topics: Carbon Tax, Emissions Trading System, National Carbon Offset System, Article 6 of the Paris Agreement
– Development of policy documents and concept notes for dialogue sessions.
