Carbon and energy market prices

After reaching a record high on Friday the 19th, when the market closed at 97.59€/US, the price of licenses fell at the beginning of last week. The decrease is mainly due to an increase in sales brought about by high prices and a possible decrease in industrial activity in Europe in the current crisis context, which would lead to a decrease in demand for licenses.

The price of a barrel of oil rose last week, with the market closing at over 100 dollars on several days. The price of natural gas also rose last week, exceeding 310€/MWh at the close of the market on Thursday, due to instability in natural gas supplies.
